We are badly in a need of disaster management for alfresco, we have a Backup server which should be up when main production is down due to disaster with all production data.
Recently found a way which syncs the alfresco data (rsync) and replicates the database(database tool replicator)
The problem I am facing is with configuring streaming replication for replicating the postgresql database from master to slave server
Postgresql db which has been installed along with alfresco is of version 8.9.4 which doesn't support streaming replication, many parameters which are needed to configure streaming replication are missing in postgresql.conf
Is there any way I can upgrade the postgresql which has been installed along with alfresco ? without losing any data?
Is there any better method to do the disaster recovery?
