I am coming from a Documentum/Centera background. I have worked with this setup for a long time and appreciated the integration very much. I am now considering an object oriented storage for a repository of about 500M records. I have reviewed the following presentation from Alfresco: http://www.slideshare.net/toniblyx/storage-and-alfresco which talks about different storage connectors.
Since Centera is pretty much EOL I was wondering what other community members are using. Our data takes up about 100Tb+ storage space currently. S3 does not seem to be an option for us since it requires Alfresco to be running in AWS. Our solution has to be on premise configuration.
Any recommendations which direction to go with as far as object oriented storage goes?
